Butterfly valve

Butterfly valve is a type of valve that is used to control the flow of fluids (liquids or gases) by opening, closing, or partially obstructing various passageways. The valve consists of a circular disc that is hinged on one side and can be rotated around a pivot point to open, close, or partially obstruct the flow of fluid. The disc has a flat surface that seals against a seat when the valve is closed, preventing fluid from flowing through the valve.
